World Book Day takes place this year on
Thursday, March 5th. There will be lots of exciting activities
taking place next week to mark it. Pupils are invited to dress up as their
favourite book character on Thursday. There was a fantastic response to this
competition last year and we look forward to seeing some wonderful costumes
again this year. There will be prizes for the most inventive and imaginative
characters! All classes will have DEAR-
Drop Everything and Read at 11am. Pupils are encouraged to bring in their
favourite book from home. There will be a school writing competition for Senior
Infants, 1st and 2nd. Some classes are also visiting
Balbriggan library for a story telling session. Thanks to Ms. Ua Conaill for co-ordinating
events.
